With more than forty acres of common space, the property boasts endless pastures, open fields, shady glens, and quiet nature paths. Cody's Pond, the Firepit, the Garden Barn, and the Bunkhouse, add to the enjoyment of life at Farmstead at Piney Woods.
When purchased, the property housed a charming, quirky party barn. The owners have reimagined this as common space for the neighborhood, and have lovingly remodeled the barn. With interiors designed by the nationally recognized, award-winning design firm, Pineapple House Interiors, the Bunkhouse features a gracious fire-side gathering room and a high end kitchen. A separate catering kitchen and pantry are perfect for bringing in an outside chef and hosting an intimate dinner party for sixteen of your friends and neighbors in the banquet-sized dining room. For overnight guests, two one-bedroom suites with luxury baths await.
Bunkhouse
Opening to the fenced vegetable garden with irrigated, raised beds, the barn offers the perfect place to store garden tools and materials, and a potting room with work table and sink serves as the perfect place to start seedlings and gather the vegetables. Lined with windows, the open spaces are the perfect place to pick up the hobby you've been dreaming about, and a half bath and smooth concrete floor adds comfort for use of the barn. Endless uses are possible in the open loft, from storage, painting studio, yoga or meditation classes, or anything else that comes to mind.
Garden Barn
Perched atop the tallest knoll on the property, a custom designed stone fire pit is the perfect place to capture glorious sunsets. Wander to the top of the hill on a cool evening to share wine and stories with friends and neighbors, or sneak away with that special someone for a quiet evening soaking in the beauty of a starry night!

Cody's Pond
Cody's Pond is an acre and a half, spring-fed, stocked pond. Spend an afternoon fishing the tranquil waters, or sit on the custom iron bench beneath the shade of the heritage shade tree, and get lost in a favorite book or sketch pad. Cody's Pond has special meaning for the owners. A few weeks before purchasing the land, Cody, a beloved family pet, had just lost a health battle. At closing, the sellers requested that one of their horses remain in his pasture until their new home pastures were ready. That horse's name? Cody!
